Book an Initial Consultation

  • Retro Whims designs florals throughout Western North Carolina, including Cashiers, Highlands, Asheville, and surrounding mountain communities. I happily travel for celebrations rooted in beauty, intention, and a strong sense of place.

  • I focus on weddings, elopements, and intimate celebrations, along with select events and floral installations. Whether your day is an elegant mountain affair or a free-spirited gathering, my approach stays artful and personal.

  • Yes. My wedding floral packages start at $1,000 for florals only, with full floral and decor packages beginning at $1,500. For couples looking for a fully custom, story-driven design experience, I work toward a $2,500 minimum for full-service weddings.

    For intimate celebrations and elopements, my Small Weddings, Full Heart collection starts at $180 — with options that include an officiant if needed.

    Investment varies depending on flower selection, design complexity, and scope. Every package includes my full creative attention — never rushed, never generic.

  • Most couples reach out 6–12 months ahead of their date, especially for spring and fall weddings. Some dates fill quickly, so I recommend inquiring as soon as you feel that spark of this is it.

  • Absolutely. I adore intimate celebrations. Elopements and micro-weddings receive the same creative attention and care as larger events — just on a smaller, beautifully curated scale.

  • Always. I don’t use templates or preset packages. Every design is created from scratch, inspired by your story, your setting, and the season your celebration lives in.

  • Often, yes — and I love making the most of meaningful florals. I’ll guide you on what can transition seamlessly from ceremony to celebration, keeping things both beautiful and intentional.

  • Yes. Full-service design includes delivery, on-site installation, styling, and tear-down. Delivery and setup are billed separately based on your event location. Local delivery within 35 miles of Cashiers is a flat $60, plus setup at $75/hr. For extended travel beyond 35 miles — including Asheville, Upstate South Carolina, North Georgia, and surrounding areas — mileage is billed at $0.72/mile plus $30/hr drive time and $75/hr setup. When a design includes a rental suite, strike is always required. Strike labor is billed at $30/hr. For late night events ending after 10pm, add approximately $50 to those estimates.

    Your delivery, setup, and strike costs will be outlined clearly in your proposal so there are no surprises on your wedding day. I take care of the details so you can stay present and soak it all in.

  • I prioritize seasonal blooms fresh from local farms whenever possible. This allows for richer textures, better quality, and designs that feel naturally connected to the time and place of your event.

  • My style blends whimsical florals, vintage charm, and a touch of nostalgia — arrangements that feel collected, expressive, and just a little unexpected. Think garden-inspired movement with a retro soul.

  • After you inquire, I’ll review your details and schedule a consultation if we’re a good fit. From there, I’ll create a custom design proposal that brings your floral vision to life.
