A little vintage. A lot of love. Completely one-of-a-kind.
My story-Every floral design starts with a story — yours. And mine began a long time ago.
Where It Started
I grew up in North Georgia, where I discovered floristry through FFA and fell in love with what flowers could do — not just how they looked, but how they made people feel. I started a small flower business as a teenager, designing prom florals and centerpieces, and somewhere in those early arrangements I found something that felt true.
Then life happened. I stepped back to raise my children, and floristry waited in the background. I kept creating in other ways, including interior design, and life was full. I was living my life fully — I just didn’t know something was about to warm my heart.
The Moment Everything Changed
In 2024, my daughter Chloe got married. I designed her flowers. When she saw her bridal bouquet, she cried. And so did something in me — because in that moment I understood exactly what I was supposed to be doing. It felt like coming home. Not to a place, but to myself.
My other daughter Casey has been part of this journey too, helping bring these designs to life when the work calls for extra hands and extra heart.
Coming Home
Since settling in the mountains of Cashiers, North Carolina in 2020, I’ve been building something I couldn’t have imagined as that teenager arranging prom corsages in Georgia. The scale is different now. The stories are deeper. The creative freedom is something I hold close — because it’s what allows me to design flowers that couldn’t belong to anyone else’s wedding but yours.
I work from my mountain home, Fox Brae Cottage, where the seasons and the light and the wild growing things around me find their way into every design. I’m drawn to dahlias — their layers, their drama, their generous bloom — and to all the flowers that feel like they grew somewhere untamed. I call it Fox Brae Cottage, and in my heart it is already everything I dream it to be. The cottage garden finding its shape along the path. The pond catching morning light. Dutch doors open to the seasons. Flowers grown for cutting and carrying inside. It is my sanctuary, my inspiration, and the well I draw from every time I design. When you see layers and texture and gathered abundance in my work — that comes from here. From this place that lives as fully in my imagination as it does in the mountain soil outside my door.
What I Want For You
When you find your way to your floral story, I want you to feel like you've stepped into a different world.
A world with fairies and flowers and magic — the kind you'd find in an old tale, half-remembered.
Folklore can be many things — a Mist-filled Enchanted Forest, with sword waiting to be wielded. Vintage Old Hollywood Glamour with all its silver screen romance. A Dark Celtic Romance in all its celestial glory. Whichever chapter is yours, it's completely yours.
Your wedding florals should feel that specific. That personal. That completely, unmistakably yours.
A little vintage. A lot of love. Completely one-of-a-kind.
