Enchanted Garden is RetroWhims' fully custom wedding design experience — built entirely from your story, your vision, and the feeling you want your guests to carry home with them. There is no fixed recipe here — only what blooms from your story.
We handle everything from ceremony to reception — florals, linens, candles, glassware, flatware, chargers, and ceremony backdrop — so your only job on your wedding day is to be present.
Custom design begins with a conversation. We'll talk about your vision, your venue, and what beautiful means to you. From there, a design direction and full proposal are crafted specifically for your day.
Enchanted Garden is RetroWhims' one full-service wedding per month booking. Investment starts at $2,500 and increases with flower selection and design complexity.

What does a custom wedding design include?

Every Enchanted Garden wedding is built from scratch — there is no fixed list of items because the design is entirely yours. We start with a conversation about your vision, your venue, and the feeling you want your day to carry. From there I design a complete floral and décor plan that may include personal florals, ceremony backdrop, tabletop design, candles, linens, glassware, statement pieces, and more. Every element is chosen with intention for your specific day. I work with venues across the Cashiers and Highlands area, Western North Carolina, North Georgia, and Upstate South Carolina, so I know the landscape, and what works beautifully in these mountain spaces.
What is the minimum investment for a custom wedding?

Custom wedding design at RetroWhims starts at $2,500. Investment increases based on flower selection, number of guests, venue complexity, and design scope. We start with a consultation where I listen — really listen — to what you're envisioning. After that conversation I put together a Design Direction Summary so you can see your wedding taking shape before any proposal is written. Once you're happy with the direction and your retainer is placed, I build your full floral proposal. From there we refine together until it feels exactly right. The process is unhurried and personal because that's the only way I know how to do it.

How does the design process work?
How far in advance should I book?

I take one full-service wedding per month by design, which means availability is limited and books out quickly — especially for peak mountain wedding season from August through November. I'd recommend reaching out as soon as you have a date and venue in mind, even if you're still early in planning. A quick conversation costs nothing and tells us both whether we're a good fit.
Do you serve venues outside of Cashiers?

Yes — I serve the full Western North Carolina, North Georgia, and Upstate South Carolina region, including Highlands, Brevard, Asheville, Greenville SC, and surrounding areas. I'm especially familiar with mountain venues in the Cashiers and Highlands plateau. Extended travel is simply billed at my standard travel rate.
What makes Enchanted Garden different from your other packages?

First Blooms and Cottage Garden are fixed-recipe packages — the structure is set, and you choose your palette within it. Enchanted Garden has no fixed recipe. It's a fully bespoke design experience where every decision starts with your story. If you have a specific vision, a non-traditional venue, a particular flower you've always loved, or a feeling you want your guests to experience — that's what Enchanted Garden is built for. What candle options are available for my wedding?

Candlelight is one of the most transformative elements of wedding design — and for good reason. For custom weddings I work with a full range of candle styles including tapers, hurricanes, votives, floating candles,, and candlestick holders to create layered, romantic light that feels intentional from every angle. We'll talk through your vision during consultation and design a candlescape that's completely specific to your space and aesthetic. If you'd like to add a dedicated candle package to your reception tables, the Ultimate Candle Package is also available as a standalone à la carte item at $175 per table.
How does delivery, setup, and strike work?

Delivery and setup are billed separately based on your event location. Local delivery within 35 miles of Cashiers is a flat $60, plus setup at $75/hr. For extended travel beyond 35 miles — including Asheville, Greenville, Young Harris, and surrounding areas — mileage is billed at $0.72/mile plus $30/hr drive time and $75/hr setup.
Because Enchanted Garden includes a full rental suite, strike is always required. Strike labor is billed at $30/hr. For events ending before 10pm, expect approximately $175 locally or $225 for extended travel. For late night events ending at 10pm or after, add approximately $50 to those estimates.
Your delivery, setup, and strike costs will be outlined clearly in your proposal so there are no surprises on your wedding day.
